Organist -Choir Director Lisa Cairns at the 1924 Moller pipe organ. The insturment, Opus 3847, originally came from Trinity Episcopal Church on Jackson Avenue in the New Orleans Garden District. It was purchased and donated to Mount Olivet by local dentist Dr. Mark Carey, who underwrote its purchase and installation. The instrument left Trinity during the Lenten season of 1930 and was dedicated on Easter (April 20, 1930) at Mount Olivet by Bishop Burton of the diocese of Lexington.
